It's 0830 and we're about to roll out for Charleston, WV. Nashville was a nice relaxing 2 days and we got to see some of thre sightws here. Jason, Mike and Wayne took a long day ride to the Jack Daniels Distillery whilke the rest of us hung around Nashville. Oh, and JJ?? he went to the DukesFest! Spent $75000 on a Dukes General Lee and now he's looking for a trailer for it. More later!

We spent 10 hours on the road, most of it very pleasant, as we rode to Charleston. We had some good secondary roads after a tour through the 'hood in Nashville looking for gas. Betty had a rough n ight and was a little discombobulated. We finally got rolling and racked up some good miles, grabbed some sodas to go with sandwich meat and stopped at General Burnside State Park, where they have the world's biggest boat launch. JJ spent his lunch hour wrenching his wheel again. He says he's ready to buy a Beemer in disgust. I told him I didn't think he could handle one and he should settle for his Harley. . .:rolleyes: . We did have to stop for some air for my tires. I just put that in for the whiners! We spent the last 4 hours trying to outrace a severe storm, which we did for over an hour and then stopped to let the bruight spot carch up and then raced it again for another hour or so. Rolled up some great miles in the last 3 hours or so. It's off to Annapolis in the AM. The storms are hitting us now! Holy crap!:eek:
Here's the numbers we put down for today;
Moving AVG-41.1
Overall AVG-56.4
Max. SPD-83.7
Total Time-10:16
Moving-7:29
Stopped-2:46
Total Miles-422

Update- It looks like the weather is cooperating for the most part for the next 2 days so, our plans remain unchanged. Our planned lunch stop is the C&O National Park in Cumberland, MD.
