Our annual Christmas party will return to Turners Club on N. Salina St. again this year. This affords Mr. and Mrs. RedBull the opportunity to enjoy the festivities with us instead of hosting. Makes sense to me! While I haven't written these things in stone, here's what it's beginning to look like;
Well, there are only 12 Dec 2007 17:30:00 until the Guns 'n Hoses Christmas Party!
We're working on a delicious holiday menu and, trust me, we've got some big shoes to fill from prior years, but I'm sure we'll have a feast fit for Kings and Queens!
This year, it's at Turners' Club, 617 N. Salina St. (there's plenty of parking in the rear), 12/12/2007 at 1730 hours. Stu will have his St. Nick bandana on!
We had a spectacular turnout for last year's function and after the word gets around, I'm sure this year will be even better! I wouldn't be surprised to see Chevy Chase and the family to do another episode of "Christmas Vacation!"
For those of you who haven't been to our party before, couples are welcome (and encouraged)! Hope you all can make it and, once again, make sure you complete the poll when you know if you're going and as a double insurance (in case I screw up the poll) post a reply to this thread with your intentions.

I have tickets made up; $15 for paid GnH'ers, $25 for guests pre-event
at the door, add $5 to each category. Let's get the $$ in so the shoppers can do their business.

Talked to Falge today and we planned the menu, but we haven't okayed it through Elaine - ha ha ha. The menu is as follows:

Roast Beef

Mashed Potatoes w/gravy
Vegetables - Glazed Carrots
Pasta
Chef Salad
Elaine is taking care of desserts
After a lengthy conversation with Chief, it was decided that dinner will be served around 7:00. For those of you who are planning on going and have not posted, please do so soon so we can plan accordingly.

Sorry they did away with the 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off deal but sometimes change is good. Think of the gas money you'll be saving! By the way, does that mean you guys have to cook more often too????:rolleyes:

I just found out that there will be a representative from the treasury at the party. Laurie will be attending on my behalf, or I should correct myself and say "better half".
Remember all are welcome to pay next years dues of $25 at the christmas party, So don't miss the pre pay discount, be one of the first to be PAID IN FULL.

I'll bring the boombox and you can run the cd player to it like last year. Haven't heard from Billy. I'll send another mass email to everyone for last call. . .

Just a reminder that Robin is bringing a bowl of Pineapple Fluff, sort of a desert you get to eat with the meal. Fa la la la fa. . . What's next? Vixsons in Santa suits serving deserts for twelve straight days? (Yummm. . .) And then. . .who knows. . .maybe a Guns 'n Hoses Secret Santa gift exchange and masked dance where all gifts must be edible? Let it rest. . .Pineapple Fluff it is and a Happy tra la la la.
