February is upon us and you know what that means! Thats right...Time for the 2/2 gathering. Hanna and I threw darts at the magic scheduling board and came up with ....."The Crossroads" as the spot to be. See you at 2pm for socializing and perhaps a little planning. We are rapidly moving to springtime and ride weather.Time get your wingman and get out of the house.

We had a respectable turnout for our 2/2@2 meeting at the Crossroads. Even grouchy B Stauffer was there! I can say that because I know he doesn't use a computer and I'm sure that no one in G&H would ever rat me out!
As to be expected, the wings were great and the beer was cold, just the opposite of what the neons scream.
While I'm on the subject, there was a pair of eyeglasses turned over to me after everyone left (that's right, I was the last to leave) and I have them in my possession. If you see anyone from our group squinting more than usual, let me know! They have sort of oval or rectangular pewter colored wire frames.
Check out the post under Spring Ride that will have the details on our first Spring Ride meeting for the 2008 ride! This ride should prove to be the most flexible for our members to participate in of any of the prior years. It's also going to be the first international ride so, if you're thinking of going, make sure you have your passport! You can download the application online.
Additionally, the Spring ride is a day shorter and starts on Memorial Day instead of the day after. That's a Monday to Monday ride instead of Tuesday to Wednesday. There'll be an opportunity, of course, for anyone interested to ride out with us and grab lunch with us and head back home. There will also be the opportunity to split the ride and either join us or leave us as we head into Canada for the international portion of the ride. That will be a night in Toronto, a night in Ottawa (do you hear that Ottawa Guns 'n Hoses??) and then the ride home on Monday.
That's about all for now. Someone asked me what I was going to do for Fat Tuesday. Every Tuesday is Fat Tuesday! Wear your goloshes tomorrow, it's supposed to be nasty!
