Here are some pictures I received from a friend....A little bit of background history here.....
When a Canadian soldier is killed in the line of duty, regardless of where he lived in Canada, his body is always returned to the Canadian Air force Base in Trenton, Ontario. Then the soldier is transported to Toronto to the Chiefs Coroner Office for autopsy.
Approximately 1 year and a half ago, the Ontario Government voted to change the name of the stretch of road between Trenton an Toronto, Ontario to:
Highway of Heroes............
Needless to say that alot of people attend this road when a soldier finally comes back home.
