I've tried to post this several times, but it's been lost before being posted so, I apologize for the delay.
Hope you're all enjoying the summer. Our Spring ride really set the stage for a nice summer of riding, followed by our run to Rhode Island, which began as the run for Maine. The Rhode Island trip was a great ride, a great meal along with great friends. We spoke about "caging" it back there in November!
Our 9/9 meeting is coming up and our traditional GnH clambake. I'd like some feedback from all of you on the possibility of having it the Friday afternoon after the 9th, that will leave the weekend free for everyone and there'll be no work the next day. This summer was the worst Red Tide in history according to some sources, so we may be surprised by the clam prices, but not so sure.
I'd like to schedule at least one fall foliage ride if there's any interest. I'd be surprised if there isn't. Maybe a Saturday breakfast ride to Old Forge.
I'm trying to attach a photo of the Truss Bridge #79 photo from the Spring ride. That, for me, was one of the high points of the Spring Ride. Of course, the return to the Dragon, especially during daylight, was awesome!
