Please excuse the first message which simply read "test,test,test" We have been having technical difficulties getting me on this site. Our ride last Sunday was awsome. The weather was great and we started out from Serpicos with 22 scooters of all makes, sizes and color schemes. Up Rt 81 north to Rt 49 at Central Square. We met with Iron Mike Dineen and his bride Lori near Constantia. They took up the rear as we proceded toward the Tug Hill. Along the way I spot this nice looking Red Valkrie which looked a lot like Dineen's and the rider who looked a lot like Iron Mike himself. Then I realize the guy was Mike. Hey, I say to myself. How did he do that? He was at the rear of our pack now he is ahead. Then it hit's me Duh! we are following Top Gun's fish finder(GPS) while Mike is his own fish finder. Up to Williamstown to Redfield and eventually to downtown Osceola. Several of us had breakfast at the Outpost rest. The chow was good and very reasonable. We then left for Forestport where Top Gun's fish finder had us take a wrong turn in the metropolis of Forestport. We finally reached Rt28 where about half the pack turned south on 28 while some of us turned left to travel north. The colors were good, the lakes and rivers were shining in the sun,and we were off first to old Forge and finally arriving in Blue Mountain Lake. After some of us chowed down AGAIN, we took off on Rt30 to Rt 8 Speculator a/k/a "the loop". We had some new riders to our group who rode well and were great company. Please join us again for a cross country adventure. After leaving Rome we travelled the T-way in a tight group back to Syracuse. We arrived back in the hood at about 6:40 pm. Great day.
