Hey riders,
I spoke with Gary Pence in Harrisonburg, today, and told him we were heading back there. He sends his regards to the guys he met last year and said he's looking forward to meeting JJ! I told him we got a nice set of chrome training wheels for him this year and we're going to get him there! Gary's going to contact Tim Newberry from Days Inn and get a rate for us. He's also going to contact the folks at the restayurant we went to last year. They treated us great and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. He's also going to contact the Motor Coppers who gave us the escort to Shenandoah and see if they'll block some time to get us on our way up SR 33 into WV (sorryJJ). Billy Wilson raised a good point that we'll invite those guys to dinner the night before.
Gary's also going to reach out for a contact in Wytheville (pronounced WOOF-uhl according to Gary) to look for rooms there for night #2.
All in all, a good day of prgress on getting our arrangements squared away.
We're closing in on double digits (days to the ride) so, if you're in for the ride, let me know by PM or email.

Well eight of us showed up for the ride meeting this month. Hanna whipped up a batch of Kiebasa and Kraut and we all enjoyed a productive afternoon.

We went through the itinerary and worked out possible rooming list and riding/gas partners.

Locations are:

Harrisonburg
Wytheville
Nags Head (2 nights)*
Ocean City (3 nights)*

* Day trips being planned for locations with mulitple night stays. Feel free to suggests stops/rides if you are familliar with the area(s).

Hemmer/Guest ??

Next Meeting is scheduled for March 19th, 12pm at Syracuse Turners (619 N Salina St. between E. Division and Ash...addtional parking at rear of building).

I can't recall who originally brought it up at the meeting but coincidently the most recent ama direct link on our site makes note of a new seat that is COOLED and HEATED !! Did someone mention having or wanting frosty roids ?

You just want to ride in WV, PERIOD! Just like "that other motorcycle" did last year! Why, if I recall, he even did some trick ridin' hisself!;)
