Well, there are only 42 days until the Guns 'n Hoses Christmas Party!
Tom and Chris Tubbert, once again, are our gracious hosts. Last year, there was a little snow on the ground and we watched the (rein)deer wander out of the woods, from the comfort of their bar. I think Chris will always retain the title "Dessert Queen" with tables and countertops filled with cookies and sweets!
I'm going to let Red Bull post the arrival details. He has some disclaimer info on the lip of his driveway or something! I'm presuming that our starting time will be 1700 as it was last year, but there may be a correction to this!
Also, I'm creating a poll (I'm cautiously optimistic about this) to see who's going to be there. Unlike the clambake, where it was listed as a family event, this will be limited to stags and couples.
The costs will be supplemented by some dues income so please be sure that your $25 dues for this year were paid to Mike Dineen. The remainder of the costs will be divided by the number of attendees present. This is a catered event so, a head count is imperative!!
We had a spectacular turnout for last year's function and after the word got around, I'm sure this year will be even better! I wouldn't be surprised to see Chevy Chase and the family to do another episode of "Christmas Vacation!"
Hope you all can make it and, once again, make sure you complete the poll when you know if you're going and as a double insurance (in case I screw up the poll) post a reply to this thread with your intentions.
