Imagine...13th of November and we are still riding in fairly decent weather. Sunday about 11 machines started out from Top Gun's cave on Lemoyne Ave at about 12:30p. We rode south in and out of (I swear)every farm road, Top could find on his fish finder. We eventually arrived at the A&W Rootbeer Stand in Cortlandville where most had a snack and a few laughs. We then traveled southwest on Rt 13 to Ithaca by way (I swear) of Latrobe Pa. Upon leaving Ithaca we went to wine country via the Cayuga west lake road. We setteled in for a visit at the "Thirsty Owl" winery and proceded to merely sample a few of the local liquid inventions. I have never visited a winery where they left the open bottle on the bar and walked away. It was almost like being in Deadwood. Well..I said almost. Anyway we ordered up a case of fine wine and it will be available for all to sample at our G&H Christmas party. And yes....we will leave the open bottle on the bar for ya! After taking a few snapshots of our group which now numbered about nine, we left for home. Nice ride all day,nice folks all day,nice liquid refreshment a wee portion of the day. Let's hope we get another opportunity to ride the wild mouse next Sat. or Sunday. Red Bull....03' R.K.Classic
