Top Gun

Hey riders,
I don't want to be premature, but the 2007 Spring Ride is only 29 May 2007 09:00:00 away. But where should we go??
Our big challenge for this year's ride is to get our radios working. The weather forecast for the 30th is a chance of a scattered t-storm. Same for the 31st in Harrisonburg. We'll be making Muffaletta sangwidges on Monday night at Turners. I hope most of you kept your insulated lunch bags from last year, you'll want them for this lunch and the next day, too.
If anyone is interested in riding to the first gas stop with us like last year, let me know so we can organize the riding order. Last year we had around 35-40 bikes heading out, a very nice send off for us! That would be nice again this year. I spoke w/Chief Gary Miguel who said he'd provide us with an escort out of town by the SPD Traffic boys. If any of you see him at a crime scene or elsewhere, please make it a point to thank him for that.
Tomorrow marks my 1 year retirement anniversary and I owe all of you many thanks for making it a great one! Stu's telling me I have to go back to work, though. I'll give it careful consideration.
Watchfire - - 5/28 (Sunday) we'll meet at Destiny at 1730 hours and ride in together as last year. If you have an old flag that is no longer suitable for display, bring it with you for the Watchfire. This is a great event for us to attend as a group so try to make it!
Hope to see you all there!
