Default Karissa's accident

On Thursday morning, at about 0830, Karissa was heading in to the City to volunteer her time at the Pastime Club, as she often does, to decorate the newly painted Lounge.
She was involved in a personal injury auto accident that ended up totaling her Blazer and sending her to the hospital. To put it mildly, she was very banged up, but fortunately, did not suffer life threatening injuries. Nonetheless, her injuries were serious and very painful and it’s likely she will be out for at least a week or two.
She was treated and released from the hospital and is recovering at home. Plenty of rest is the order of the Doctor. You can leave cards or well wishes with the bartenders and we’ll see that she gets them.
Needless to say, we are all grateful that her injuries were not any more severe than they were and that a terrible tragedy was averted as this accident could have resulted in much more serious injuries or death. We offer our best wishes to her for a speedy and complete recovery.
We’re blessed, here at the PAC, to have a very dedicated staff and anytime any one of them suffers an injury or hardship, we all suffer with them. We look forward to seeing Karissa’s smiling face back here very soon!

Default Karissa's accident

Just a brief update. Karissa says she's feeling a bit better, after being pretty badly banged up in her accident. She says her normally spotless house is even cleaner due to a bad case of "cabin fever" and the inability to get comfortable in any position. So the floors are scrubbed, the cabinets and contents cleaned, dusted, recleaned and re-arranged.

The good news is that she's expected to return to work next Monday 8/11 for her usual Monday night shift. She says she's really looking forward to seeing Pastimers and Elks again. I'd say the feeling's mutual!

Stop in Monday to see for yourselves!
